Perfect location in the heart of all of the fun!

Perfect location! Tons of restaurants and pubs in the heart of Edinburgh! There was a lift, which was helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean! A fun pub was downstairs. The staff was super helpful! I would stay here again and again.

Great Location and Wonderful Lodging

We spent 4 nights here during Fringe. It was a wonderful location with good restaurants, shops and sites of interest right out the door. The rooms were nice, the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast at Biddy’s nextdoor was great. This was our favorite hotel during our 2 week trip to Scotland.

The best stay for my holiday.

This hotel is so nice. The staff is superfriendly, so helpfull and the room was very nice and clean. The location is perfect, very close to the Royal mile. Walking distance to mostly everything. And the pub Biddys next door where the breakfast is served, are just great.

Great stay

We were a little hesitant to stay here at first. We are so glad that we did. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Steven at the front desk is so helpful and you can really see that he loves his job. The food at the pub (Biddy's) is shockingly very good. 

Loved our stay!

We stayed at the Grassmarket Hotel for 2 nights and loved it! We requested a room change when we arrived and Cleo at the front desk very kindly accommodated us. The location is amazing bars, shops, restaurants, cafes, all right outside on the square. Steps away from the Granny Stairs to Edinburgh Castle, and to The Royal Mile. We had a wonderful stay!

Great hotel, perfect location!

This hotel is a must! It is perfectly located in the best spot with plenty of great pubs and restaurants within metres of your doorstep! The staff were so accomodating - especially Steven! He was so helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived! Thank you 🙂
